| The
Leganés Tecnológico science, technology and business
park was established with two objectives: to strengthen research
as a fundamental element for the generation of knowledge and to create
a favourable climate for companies to find all the facilities they
need to develop a culture of technological innovation, in order to
increase their competitiveness and improve coordination between the
public and private sectors in science and technology areas. It is located in a space of high environmental quality and features excellent communication, transport and innovative technological infrastructure. It includes recreational zones and commercial and service areas in the centre of a region with an excellent present and an enormous future. The Community of Madrid, which participates through the Madrid Institute of Development (IMADE) from the Department of Economy and Technological Innovation, Leganés City Council and the Carlos III University of Madrid. |
